The City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department is offering swim lessons for children 6 months old and up. Lessons are offered for all skill levels from beginner to advanced and are taught according to American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim guidelines. All lifeguards are American Red Cross certified and classes are designed to teach water safety and skills in a safe and fun environment. Weather permitting, weekday sessions run for two weeks and typically meet from Monday through Thursday (Friday will be used for make-up dates if necessary).
