Deck the House Contest

Is your home the brightest on the block?
Do your holiday lights twinkle for all to see? Is your house the most festive spot in Avon Lake? Then it’s time to pull out the wreaths, lights, and reindeer—it’s your chance to shine!

The Avon Lake Parks & Recreation Department is once again hosting our annual Holiday Lights Contest to find the most dazzling displays in town.

How to Enter:
Decorate your home or business, snap a picture of your masterpiece, and email it to ALREC@avonlake.org with your family name and street address by Monday, December 15, 2025.

Contest Rules:
  • Open to all Avon Lake residents.
  • Displays must be completed between November 2025 and December 14, 2025.
  • Entries are due by Monday, December 15, 2025.
  • By submitting, you grant Avon Lake Recreation permission to use your photo in promotional materials.
Light up Avon Lake this holiday season—we can’t wait to see your sparkle!
