Avon Lake Big Trucks
Join us Saturday, September 14th 10am – 2pm Rain or Shine for Big Trucks! This event is FREE to the public and focuses on introducing our residents and children to the various trucks and equipment seen throughout our city.
Through our partnerships, meet representatives from Avon Lake Fire Department, & Police Vehicles and Equipment, County Sheriff & FBI Vehicles and Equipment, Medical Transport Aircraft, Emergency Response Watercraft, County Emergency Command Post, Avon Lake Department of Public Works, Military Vehicles, Utility Company Vehicles, Health Screenings by Regional Hospitals & County Health Department, Avon Lake Early Childhood PTA, Various Local & County Agency booths and much more.
Food trucks are available for food purchases. Children 18 and under can earn a coupon for use at any of the food trucks on-site by completing their Big Trucks Passport. Coupons are valid 9/14/24 only – while supplies last. Not redeemable for cash.
Big Truck Passports: Pick up your Big Trucks Passport at the DJ booth, and visit vendors inside the fire station garage to earn a stamp for each of the passport squares. Once your passport is full, bring it to the DJ booth to redeem it for your coupon!
Planned food trucks are: Cheesy Dave's, Off the Griddle, Telos Truck, Frankie B's, CLE Cookie Dough, 808 Treat Truck & CLE Cotton Candy.
Parking: There is no parking at the Avon Lake Safety Center. However, parking is available at Towne Center with shuttle services provided by Independent Village as well as assistance available for crossing Walker Road by foot.
