The Avon Lake Randy Knilans Memorial Bike Rodeo will be held
Saturday, May 17, 2025
Avon Lake High School North Parking Lot
10:00am - 12:00pm
Bring your bikes and helmets for a morning of fun, learning, and riding! Our Bike Rodeo is a free event for kids ages 5–12, designed to help young riders build confidence and learn safe biking skills while having a great time outdoors.
Families will move through a series of exciting stations where riders can practice balance, steering, signaling, and stopping—all in a safe, supportive environment. Staff and volunteers will help with helmet fittings and bike safety checks, then kids can test their skills on a fun obstacle course designed just for them.
Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced rider, they’ll leave feeling proud, capable, and ready to ride safely all summer long.
This event is a wonderful way for families to spend time together, get active, and learn bike safety in a hands-on, interactive way.
Event sponsored by the Avon Lake Police Department, the City of Avon Lake Recreation Department, Marty's Cycle Center and Bike Cleveland.
Register by Thursday, May 15th by 5:00pm!
