Softball Player Mid-Swing
Avon Lake Youth Softball is grade based.  Register by the grade your child is CURRENTLY in. 

 
Coach Pitch - Grades 1-2
Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Once assigned two days they'll remain the same days throughout the season. Weeknights begin at 6:00 pm and weekends will typically be in the morning.  The main focus is on having fun and learning the basics of the game.  

Minors - Grades 3-5 & Majors - Grades 6-8
Practices may begin in late April/early May based on coaches availability.  Games may begin the third week of May depending on the weather and may be up to 2 to 3 times per week.  These are kid pitch leagues where the main focus is on having fun and learning and developing the fundamentals of the sport. This league requires travel to surrounding cities.  End of the season single elimination tournament.      

Seniors - Grades 9-12
Recent graduates are able to participate in the Senior League.  Practices may begin in late April/early May based on coaches availability.  Games may begin the third week of May depending on the weather and may be up to 2 to 3 times per week.  This league requires travel to surrounding cities.  End of the season single elimination tournament.  


REGISTRATION CLOSES March 17th  
All late registrations will be based on availability and may be subject to a late fee
