Turkey Bowl
**Canceled but we will offer the Saturday before Thanksgiving in 2021**

Join us for the inaugural Turkey Bowl Football Tournament. For the first time we will be offering a flag football tournament to kick off the holiday season on Saturday, November 21st with all championship games being played on Sunday, November 22nd. 

Every team will start off in a double elimination bracket based on a blind draw. Games will be (2) 15 Minute Halves and they will be played as 7v7. Rosters must carry a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 12. Each player will receive a Turkey Bowl T-shirt that will be their jersey for the day. Flags will also be provided. Cost is $150 per team. Please have the head coach or assistant sign up for the whole team. Each grade division will max out at 4 teams. Once a coach signs up as a team, please provide a roster to the recreation department by Wednesday, November 11th to guarantee correct shirt sizes are ordered. Rosters can be submitted to otaylor@avonlake.org

The divisions will be as follows: 
3rd and 4th playing Saturday between 10am-1pm 
5th and 6th playing Saturday between 10am-1pm 
7th and 8th playing Saturday between 1pm-4pm
9th-12th grade playing Saturday between 1pm-4pm

All games will be played at Weiss fields and we will take a maximum of 4 teams per division. Saturday morning games will range from 10am-4pm and Sunday championship games will take place at 10am. All Saturday games will be played back to back.
