The City of Avon Lake is pleased to announce the 6th season of a recreational fall baseball league for the Jr. and Sr. Thurman divisions.
Games will take place at Weiss Field in Avon Lake starting August 26th and ending, weather permitting, by October 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays with rain-outs attempted to be made up as double headers October 7th. There will be 6 games and no post-season tournament.
As in the Spring, games will have a drop dead 1 hour and 45 min time limit. There is a 96 player limit for each league (8 teams of 12) and no complete teams are permitted to enter either league. All players will go into a draft pool and will be drafted.
Registration is open till August 13th.
