Yoga in the Park is back! We, along with our studio partners, are excited to host another summer of downward dogs. And better yet, we are excited to offer an expanded schedule with new class offerings. Be sure to view the schedule below to see the class styles and descriptions. They range from traditional all-levels flow to stretching-focused and meditative. Classes will be held at Veterans' Memorial Park (32756 Lake Road).
June 5 - August 16, 2020 (no class the weekend of 7/3-5 due to the holiday)
Friday 7am: Sunrise Yoga with Cultivate Yoga Space, instructor Halle Plagens
Saturday 9am: All Levels Flow Yoga with Avon Lake Yoga, instructor Lanie McManus
Sunday 9:30am: Breathwalk with Sat Nam Studios, instructor Cher Lukacs
Sunday 5:00pm: Yin Yoga + Tibetan Singing Bowls with Sat Nam Studios, instructor Allison Caruso
All classes run ~1 hour.
Cost: This is a FREE class, however, donations for the instructor are appreciated.
Where: Veterans' Memorial Park, 32756 Lake Road.
Parking: Parking is available at Veterans' Memorial Park in front of the Lakehouse and the Folger Home. Overflow parking is available across Lake Road at the Old Firehouse Community Center and the Bleser Park lot.
Registration: Simply show up at the park and sign in with the instructor.
Weather & Cancellation: We will not hold class if it is raining or other poor weather conditions persist. If classes must be cancelled they will not be rescheduled. If weather is questionable check our Facebook Page:

Sunrise Yoga: This morning vinyasa-style yoga class invites you to wake up and flow with the lake on your horizon. Postures are strung together with breath and you are always invited to flow at your own pace! Please bring a yoga mat.
All Levels Flow Yoga: All Levels Yoga Flow is designed for students of all ability levels from Beginner to Experienced. Come as you are.
Breathwalk: Breathing your way to a revitalized body, mind, and spirit. Breathwalk integrates breathing, walking and meditation into specific exercise patterns that create vitality. Breathwalk is simple, natural and effective. No prior experience necessary.
Yin Yoga + Tibetan Singing Bowls: The practice of Yin Yoga is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia. Class is infused with multiple singing bowls along with other musical instruments to promote relaxation and a meditative practice. Please bring a yoga mat, a beach towel or yoga blanket, and 2 yoga blocks (optional).
