This program takes place at the Old Firehouse Community Center, 100 Avon Belden Rd. Masks must be worn and your temperature will be taken when entering the facility.  This is a great workshop for the beginner astronomer! Learn to navigate the night sky for each season and what free resources are available for stargazing.  Learn how to operate the Avon Lake Park & Recreation Dobsonian telescope. Weather permitting, we will observe the Moon and other seasonal objects. Trained participants will be permitted to sign-out the telescope at a later date to enjoy at home.

Cost: $3 per resident/$5 per non-resident

Who: Great for families, individuals or kids age 5 and up!
