Join us as we hunt for shooting stars, look at the man in the moon and much more!  Local astronomer, Suzie Dills, will be on hand with a telescope or two to show you what to look for. Stop by to take a quick peek or bring a blanket and snacks and stay for awhile. No registration required. FREE!

Saturday, April 6th - Walker Road Park Pavilion 8:30pm - 10:00pm
Join us for our first Star Party of the year during our Eclipse Events Weekend! We'll enjoy views of Jupiter & its Galilean Moons & the several of the brightest stars of the year. We will star hop through the early spring celestial delights.

Saturday, May 18th - Walker Road Park Pavilion 9:00–10:30 pm
Celebrate National Astronomy Day!  Viewing the First Quarter Moon & Spring Constellations.
 
Friday, June 21st – Veteran’s Park 9:00 – 10:30 pm.
Celebrate the 4th Annual Make Music Day. Watch the sunset & the rise of the Full Strawberry Moon. Viewing the Moon & Summer Constellations.
 
Monday, August 12th – Walker Road Park Pavilion 9:30-11:00 pm. Annual Perseid Meteor Shower Party! Bring blankets, lawn chairs & snacks & watch for shooting stars. Also viewing the First Quarter Moon, Saturn & Summer Constellations.
 
Tuesday, September 17th – Walker Road Park Pavilion 9:00-11:00 pm. Partial Lunar Eclipse starting at 10:12 pm. Also viewing Saturn & Late Summer Constellations.

What if it's cloudy? Unfortunately, clouds will prevent the program from taking place. If this is the case, we will have to cancel. But plan to attend the next one! If weather is questionable, check our Facebook for updates:  No news is good news!
