Join us as we hunt for shooting stars, look at the man in the moon and much more! Our local astronomer Suzie Dills will be on hand with a telescope or two to show you what to look for. Stop by to take a quick peek or bring a blanket and snacks and stay for awhile. No registration required.
NEW THIS YEAR: Family Astronomy 101, 30 minutes prior to each Star Party to learn how to read a star map and learn more about telescopes. Free for the whole family.

Monday 8/12 – 9:00-11:00 - Annual Perseid Meteor Shower Party! Bring Lawn Chairs, Blankets, Snacks & Watch For Shooting Stars. Telescope Views of the Gibbous Moon, Jupiter & Saturn.
Saturday 9/7 – 8:30 –10:00 – Viewing the First Quarter Moon, Jupiter, Saturn & Preview of Autumn Constellations.
Saturday 10/5 – 7:30-9:00 International Observe the Moon Night! Viewing the First Quarter Moon, Jupiter, Saturn & Autumn Constellations.
Sunday 11/17 – 6:00-8:00 -Leonid Meteor Shower! May See a Few Shooting Stars! Telescope Viewing of Saturn & Preview of Winter Constellations.
What if it's cloudy? Unfortunately, clouds will prevent the program from taking place. If this is the case, we will have to cancel. But plan to attend the next one! If weather is questionable check our Facebook event for updates: No news is good news!
