Fishing with Friends at Walker Road Park!
Join us this summer at Walker Road Park Reservoir for another season of our popular Fishing with Friends program. Starting June 10, 2026, we’ll provide poles, bait, and friendly attendants to help you get started. Whether you’re trying fishing for the first time or making it part of your summer routine, we’d love to see you!

When: Wednesday - Saturday June 10 - July 25, 2026
- NEW HOURS Morning Sessions: Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- NEW Evening Sessions: Wednesday & Thursday, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – perfect for families to enjoy fishing together after dinner!
New for 2026: Evening Family Fishing Nights! Gather your kids and head to the pond on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a relaxing family fishing experience. Fish are most active at dusk, giving families the best chance to catch Bluegill, Bass, and Catfish. It’s the perfect way to unwind together, enjoy nature, and make lasting summer memories as the day winds down.
No Fishing with Friends on July 4th – enjoy the holiday!
Come cast a line, spend quality time with family, and make some summer memories—morning or evening!
Age Restrictions & Guidelines
- This program is designed for children 15 and under, and families are encouraged to participate. Other participants may be accommodated—please check with an attendant.
- All participants under 15 must have a parent-signed permission form (available at the event).
- Children under 12 must be supervised by someone 14 or older, and children under 6 must have a responsible adult within arm’s reach at all times.
