Dreaming of hitting the water when the weather warms up? Prepare now by completing the Ohio Boating Education Course, taught by Natural Resource Officers from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft.

Course Dates & Times:
When: Saturday, March 14, 2026 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Where: The Old Firehouse Senior Center - 100 Avon Belden Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012
What:  This FREE, 8-hour course fulfills Ohio’s mandatory boater education law.
Note: Please bring a packed lunch.
Cost: Free

If you were born after January 1, 1982 and plan to operate a boat with more than 10 horsepower, this certification is required.
