Park Information

Park Hours
The following parks are open 6:00am to 11:00pm year round: Miller Road Park, Bleser Park, Veterans' Memorial Park, Weiss Field, Walker Road Park, Resatar Park, Sunset Park, Wedgewood Park, Beach Park, Inwood Park, Belle Road Park, Ilg Park, and Overlook Park.
The beaches at Miller Road Park* and Veterans' Memorial Park are open between sunrise and sunset. *NOTE: Miller Road Park beach is completely underwater and the beach is closed until further notice. Veterans' Memorial Park beach due to erosion the eastern sections of the beach are closed.
The Weiss Field Dog Park is open 7:00am to 9:00pm year round.
The Weiss Field Skate Park is open 8:00am to 6:00pm during Daylight Savings Time and 8:00am to 9:00pm otherwise.

Dog Park Rules
1070.07  WEISS FIELD DOG PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (a)   The City does not supervise use of off-leash areas, and anyone using the area does so at his or her own risk.
   (b)   Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the fenced area.
   (c)   Only two dogs per person are allowed.
   (d)   Dogs must be healthy, fully immunized, dewormed, licensed as set forth in Section 618.08, and wearing ID tags as set forth in Section 618.095.
   (e)   Puppies under four months old are prohibited.
   (f)   Female dogs in heat and non-neutered male dogs are prohibited.
   (g)   Dogs that are classified as potential nuisance dogs, dangerous dogs or vicious dogs are prohibited.
   (h)   Dogs must be leashed prior to and upon leaving the fenced area, and owners must have a leash visible at all times while the dog is off leash in the fenced area.
   (i)   Dogs must never be left unattended or out of owner's sight.
   (j)   Owners of dogs using the fenced area must remain within the fenced area at all times.
   (k)   Dogs must be removed by their owners immediately at the first sign of aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.
   (l)   Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs.
   (m)   Owners are required to clean up and dispose of all waste of their dogs.
   (n)   No food, smoking, treats or chew items are allowed inside the fenced area.
   (o)   Failure to comply with the posted rules and regulations may result in expulsion from the park.
