Veterans' Memorial Park
Join us as we ring in the holiday season with lights and cheer! Friday, we will welcome Santa to Avon Lake as he arrives via firetruck to say hello at 6pm. After, Mayor Zilka will light up the park! Stay to listen to some holiday jingles and enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. Bring the whole family! No cost.
For a small donation, Santa will be available for visits & photos on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as a part of Heritage Avon Lake's fundraiser.
Event Schedule
Friday
5:30pm Gathering begins with music outdoors & cookies in Lake House
6:00pm Santa arrives via fire truck! Mayoral welcome, carols & lighting of the park! Cookies and music continue until 7:00pm
7:00-8:30pm Visits with Santa. Preregister below to guarantee your family's spot. Walk ups will be taken as available
Saturday & Sunday
11:00am-3:00pm Visits with Santa. Preregister below to guarantee your family's spot. Walk ups will be taken as available.
Parking
Friday Light up the Park, 5:00-7:00pm: Parking is not permitted at the Folger Home to ensure Santa's safe arrival. Please plan to park at the Lake House, Old Firehouse, or Bleser Park lots. Upon arrival, we recommend heading to the Lake House for cookies and hot chocolate. After, gather near the Folger Home where Santa will be arriving.
Friday Photos, 7:00pm-8:30pm: Parking is permitted at both the Folger Home and Lake House. Overflow parking is available at the Old Firehouse & Bleser lots. Enter the Lake House to begin your visit! You will check in there, and then be escorted to the Folger Home when Santa is ready for your family.

Ticket Info
**No tickets are required for Light up the Park from 5:30-7:00pm on Friday, December 6, 2019**
Visit/Photo with Santa Ticket Info:
Tickets are sold in 15-minute time blocks. Please check in inside the Lake House at the beginning of your time slot (i.e. if you purchase the 7:00-7:15pm ticket please check in at 7:00pm). The visit itself will take ~30 minutes including a craft inside the Lake House and your visit with Santa.
