Avon Lake Youth Baseball is grade based and placement is based off of the grade a player is CURRENTLY in. This change will align our baseball and softball programs with all other teams in our league.

Rally Cap Tee Ball (Kindergarten)
The City of Avon Lake is partnering with the Cleveland Indians for this division which is co-ed.  A six on six format will be used with position rotations.  The program is one hour during the week and on Saturday mornings.

Coach Pitch (1st & 2nd Grade)
Coach Pitch for the 2020 season will be a traditional season. This league does not hold a draft. There will be 1-2 practices per week beginning in April. There will be 2 games per week starting in May. The season ends in mid July. Any players interested in playing minors must place that in their notes section.

Minors (3rd & 4th Grade) Majors (5th & 6th Grade)
This league holds a draft in April. There will be 2-3 practices per week beginning in April.There will be 2-3 games per week starting in early May. The season will end in mid July.

Jr. Thurman Munson (7th-9th Grade) This league will hold a draft for team selection in April. There will be 2-3 practices per week beginning in April with 2-3 games per week beginning in mid May. The season will end in mid July.

Sr. Thurman Munson (9th-12th Grade) 2020 HS Graduates are able to participate in the Senior Leagues. This league will hold a draft for team selection in April. There will be 2-3 practices per week beginning in April with 2-3 games per week beginning in mid May. The season will end in mid July.

We will be holding mandatory evaluations for those registered in boys minors, majors and Jr. Thurman and girls minors and majors. Evaluations will take place at the Anchor located at 33483 Lake Road.

Evaluations will be held on March 22nd at The Anchor Recreation Facility
9am Minors 3rd grade
10am Minors 4th grade
11am Majors Baseball
12pm Jr. Thurman


REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 2, 2020. Any registration after March 2nd is subject to a $20 late fee and the waitlist.
