Snowman Competition

Snowman Contest
Do you wanna build a snowman? The Avon Lake City Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a contest to find the best snowman builders in the City. Build a snowman in any Avon Lake City Park, or in your own yard. Take a picture of your creation and submit it to the Avon Lake Parks and Recreation office by Monday, February 27th. A prize will be awarded to the winning family.

CONTEST RULES:
1.  This contest is open to all residents of Avon Lake. Entrants are to build their snowman in their own yard in Avon Lake or in Avon Lake parks.

2.  Teams/individuals may use any accessories to add to their snowman.
Each entrant must build their snowman between first major snowfall and February 27, 2023.

By submitting an entry, contestants grant the Avon Lake Parks & Recreation permission and authority to use said pictures in any reasonable advertising or promotional activities.

Entrants are encouraged to add their own creative touches that will make their snowman unique. In fact, it doesn’t need to be a traditional snowman! Create an animal, your favorite movie character, a snowman with Avon Lake spirit, or your own North Pole Village.

SUBMISSIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:
+ Photograph of the snowman with at least one of the builders in the photo for scale. Families and groups in the pictures are welcomed.
+ Family name
+ Address to verify residency
